The Not Quite Eden Organic Hair Serum - 2 oz. amber glass bottle.
Each bottle is about equal to one month of treatment - the more bottles you purchase, the more you save!

Did you know that rosemary has been proven to be just as effective in growing hair than Monoxidil 2% but without the side effects?

Before you buy, know that results can take 2-6 months to appear due to natural hair growth cycles. Our blend's ingredients have been shown to support healthy hair growth and we are confident that consistent use will produce results over time.

The following are the honest results of scientific studies on our main ingredient, rosemary, so you know if this serum can actually help your situation:

  • In Pattern Baldness (AGA) - rosemary was just as effective in growing and strengthening hair as Monoxidil 2% but without itchy scalp side effects.
  • With Alopecia Areata - rosemary alone had the same effects of Monoxidil 2% and some reported good growth results. We also combine our serum with other herbs and castor oil that can help hair growth.

  • In rats and mice with testosterone-induced alopecia, rosemary extract increased follicle numbers, thickness, and hair length.

  • Studies with blends like rosemary + lavender or rosemary + castor oil showed improvements in hair density, thickness, and reduced shedding compared to placebo oils. Our serum blend contains all of these ingredients and more to support great results.

Our ALL ORGANIC Ingredients:

Castor Oil - known for increasing circulation, nourishing the follicle, preventing hair loss and encouraging growth

Jojoba Oil - moisturizes and balances the scalp to support healthy hair growth and enhances the absorption of the herbal components

Rosemary - boosts circulation, stimulates growth and reduces the effects of DHT hormone (which is known for causing hair loss)

Nettle Leaf - is known for blocking DHT, strengthening follicles and is rich in hair-growth minerals

Sage Leaf - an antioxidant and antimicrobial that supports thicker hair growth and healthy scalp oils

Fenugreek Seed - helps to nourish the follicles, strengthen the hair shaft and reduces shedding

Amla Powder - high in vitamin C + antioxidants, may prevent premature thinning/greying and boosts collagen for stronger hair roots.

Lavender - can calm scalp irritation, reduce stress-related shedding and promote regrowth

Cedarwood - balances the scalp oils and is shown to reduce hair loss

How to use the serum:
For external use only. Apply 1–2 droppers directly on the scalp in desired areas, 2–3 times per week for best results. Gently massage into the scalp with finger tips or a round-tipped brush.  Leave on for at least 20 minutes or up to 24 hours,  then wash hair as usual. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Results can take 2 to 6 months due to natural hair growth cycles.

A few hair growth and loss prevention tips:
For women especially, constant stress on the adrenals can lead to excess hair loss. To prevent this, we need to treat our bodies right.

I recommend eating a protein-rich meal within an hour of waking up and avoiding longer fasting if you are not hormonally healthy. Doing this regularly can greatly reduce hair loss within a month.

Also, not letting your blood sugar get really low during the day will prevent adrenal stress. Feeding the body makes it feel safe - then it can do secondary things again like grow hair.

DHT is a hormone that collects on the scalp which can lead to hair loss. Not washing the hair enough can sometimes cause more hair shedding due to the build up of DHT.
I wash my hair every other day and find this to be the best schedule for me - everyone has different hair though. We are going to be offering a tea and spray bottle combo soon that you can easily make yourself and spray on your hair in between washings to mitigate the effects of DHT.

Blood flow is needed to grow healthy hair. Massage the scalp gently with your finger tips or a rounded-tip brush for 5-10 minutes a few times a week. Exercise can help too!

Eat enough healthy food and protein. If the body thinks it's starving, it will prioritize protecting vital organs instead of secondary things like growing healthy hair and skin.

Vitamin D and B levels are necessary for healthy hair growth so make sure to get enough of these.

Prioritize good sleep - nothing is better for the body and it's hormone healing than 8-9 hours of good sleep each night.

Address medical causes - thyroid issues, autoimmune disorders, iron levels and hormone issues can effect hair loss. Working with a functional medical practitioner to address the root causes of these disorders can lead to healing and healthy hair growth.

We hope this helps!

- Katie
