We formulated this blend with herbs that help our bodies inflammatory responses calm down. Check out the details of each organic ingredient...
Turmeric: contains curcumin, a compound celebrated for its potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It helps reduce swelling, joint pain, and oxidative stress, making it a cornerstone in natural remedies for arthritis and chronic inflammation.
Ginger: known for its ability to alleviate inflammation and muscle soreness, particularly in conditions like osteoarthritis. It also supports digestive health by reducing inflammation in the gut (we have a specific stomach tincture for that too!).
Holy Basil: a powerful adaptogen that helps combat stress-induced inflammation. Its anti-inflammatory properties support overall immune health and help reduce inflammatory responses in the body
Chamomile: known for its calming and soothing effects, which extend to its anti-inflammatory benefits. It helps reduce inflammation-related discomfort.
Devil's Claw: a traditional remedy for reducing inflammation, especially in arthritis and back pain. Its harpagoside content (which works by inhibiting pathways in the body that lead to inflammation) provides natural relief for joint and muscle inflammation.
Willow's Bark: contains salicin, a natural precursor to aspirin, offering powerful anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects. It’s particularly effective for reducing discomfort associated with arthritis and chronic inflammation.
Black Pepper: contains piperine, which enhances the bioavailability of the curcumin in turmeric and other nutrients in the body. It also possesses mild anti-inflammatory effects.
How else can we help our bodies not have pain and inflammation?
This is not medical advice but my own, personal opinion based on experience and research.
The foods we eat and don't eat are key. Through personal experience I know that avoiding nightshade vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, eggplant) grains and sugar can do wonders for eliminating and greatly reducing inflammation in the body. Eating clean, organic food (grass-fed meats, cooked vegetables and high-antioxidant fruits, like berries) helps to reduce stress in the body, helping it heal faster.
Gentle movement and exercise: some bodies can't handle too much exercise but even gentle walking and stretching can be incredibly beneficial for pain and inflammation. If you can handle exercise, weight lifting and exercise that gets your heart rate up releases healing chemicals that help us feel better, even emotionally and mentally.
Sleep: the body repairs itself as we sleep well. Prioritizing rest and sleep helps us heal more than anything. God created a natural schedule of rest that included daily sleep and a weekly sabbath (day of rest), where we could reset physically and spiritually. Making this schedule a priority in our life has done wonders in our health in all ways.
